The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Romania (X units), the Netherlands (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main destinations of exports of fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors from Ukraine, with a combined X% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Romania (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Romania ($X), Poland ($X) and Bulgaria ($X) constituted the largest markets for forklift truck and industrial works truck exported from Ukraine worldwide, with a combined X% share of total exports.

In 2022, the average export price for fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors amounted to $X per unit, rising by X% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Armenia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Imports into Ukraine

In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas purchases of fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors, when their volume decreased by X% to X units. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then dropped significantly in the following year.

In value terms, imports of fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors shrank markedly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by X%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then contracted rapidly in the following year.

Imports by Country

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of forklift truck and industrial works truck to Ukraine, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, imports of fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X units), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Germany (X units), with a X% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from China totaled X%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (X% per year) and Germany (X% per year).

In value terms, the UK ($X), France ($X) and Germany ($X) constituted the largest forklift truck and industrial works truck suppliers to Ukraine, together accounting for X% of total imports. China, Italy, Poland, Sweden and Japan lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

Poland, with a CAGR of X%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

The average import price for fork-lift trucks and other industrial works trucks and tractors stood at $X per unit in 2022, with an increase of X% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a drastic downturn. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per unit), while the price for China ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (X%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
