Exports from Ukraine

In 2022, overseas shipments of bituminous mixtures decreased by X% to X tons for the first time since 2016, thus ending a five-year rising trend. In general, exports, however, recorded a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X tons in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.

In value terms, bituminous mixtures exports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, posted prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by X%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

Exports by Country

Moldova (X tons) was the main destination for bituminous mixtures exports from Ukraine, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, bituminous mixtures exports to Moldova exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Romania (X tons), tenfold.
