In 2021, supplies from abroad of bed linen of cotton increased by 25% to X tons, rising for the sixth year in a row after two years of decline. In general, imports continue to indicate moderate growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 86% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, bed linen of cotton imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports recorded a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 62%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

China (X tons), Turkey (X tons) and Pakistan (X tons) were the main suppliers of bed linen of cotton imports to Ukraine, together accounting for 91% of total imports. These countries were followed by Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and India, which together accounted for a further 6.6%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Uzbekistan (with a CAGR of +189.7%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
