From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value to Canada totaled -X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Mexico (-X% per year) and South Korea (+X% per year).
Export Prices by Country
The average piper pepper export price stood at $X per tonne in 2021, standing approx. at the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Imports into the U.S.
In 2021, the amount of piper pepper imported into the United States rose notably to X tonnes, surging by X% against the previous year's figure. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.
