Israel, with a CAGR of +26.2%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of non-plastic frames and mountings for spectacles and goggles to the United States, comprising 56% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Italy ($X), with a 21% share of total imports. It was followed by Japan, with a 5% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from China totaled -1.8%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (+1.2% per year) and Japan (+0.3% per year).

Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average import price increased by 4.8% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2019 to 2021, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
