Non-Electric Bakery Oven Exports

Exports from the U.S.

In 2022, overseas shipments of non-electric bakery ovens increased by 36% to X units, rising for the second consecutive year after six years of decline. Overall, exports continue to indicate a temperate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by 43% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, non-electric bakery oven exports surged to $X in 2022. In general, total exports indicated a strong increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +96.9% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 49% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Canada (X units), Germany (X units) and Mexico (X units) were the main destinations of non-electric bakery oven exports from the United States, together accounting for 41% of total exports. India, the UK, Indonesia, Australia, the Netherlands, Guatemala, New Zealand, Chile, Thailand and Turkey lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 39%.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 170%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, non-electric bakery oven imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Overall, imports continue to indicate a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 72% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
