In 2021, grape juice (single strength) exports from the United States soared to X tonnes, picking up by X% on the previous year. In general, exports, however, recorded a noticeable descent. The exports peaked at X tonnes in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, grape juice (single strength) exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.
Exports by Country
Japan (X tonnes), Canada (X tonnes) and Israel (X tonnes) were the main destinations of grape juice (single strength) exports from the United States, together accounting for X% of total exports. Costa Rica, the UK, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, China, South Korea and Malaysia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the Philippines (+X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for grape juice (single strength) exported from the United States were Japan ($X), Canada ($X) and Israel ($X), together comprising X% of total exports. The average grape juice (single strength) export price stood at $X per tonne in 2021, dropping by -X% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, posted moderate growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $X per tonne in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was China ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to Malaysia ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to China (+X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the U.S.
In 2021, grape juice (single strength) imports into the United States surged to X tonnes, rising by X% against 2020. In general, total imports indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +X% against 2015 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Canada amounted to +X%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Brazil (+X% per year) and Chile (+X% per year).

Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +X%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average import price increased by X% y-o-y.
