Exports from Turkey
In 2022, approx. X tons of sheep or lamb skins (without wool) were exported from Turkey; picking up by X% compared with the year before. In general, exports, however, recorded a slight descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, sheepskin and lambskin exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports enjoyed a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
