Propellant Powders Exports

Exports from Turkey

After five years of decline, shipments abroad of propellant powders increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports, however, saw a perceptible shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when exports increased by X%. The exports peaked at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, propellant powders exports dropped rapidly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Cyprus (X tons) was the main destination for propellant powders exports from Turkey, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, propellant powders exports to Cyprus exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Georgia (X tons), eightfold. Romania (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with an X% share.
