These countries were followed by Algeria, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia and Cyprus, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Montenegro (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Georgia ($X), Albania ($X) and Lebanon ($X) were the largest markets for particle board exported from Turkey worldwide, with a combined X% share of total exports. Azerbaijan, Algeria, Turkmenistan, Montenegro, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia and Cyprus lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X terms of the main countries of destination, Montenegro (+X% per year) recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to exports, over the last eleven-year period, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Export Prices by Country

The average particle board export price stood at $X per cubic meter in 2018, increasing by X% against the previous year. Overall, the particle board export price, however, continues to indicate a slight drop. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2008 an increase of X% year-to-year. In that year, the average export prices for particle boards attained their peak level of $X per cubic meter. From 2009 to 2018, the growth in terms of the average export prices for particle boards remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In 2018, the highest prices were recorded for prices to Lebanon ($X per cubic meter) and Macedonia ($X per cubic meter), while the average price for exports to Serbia ($X per cubic meter) and Bulgaria ($X per cubic meter) were amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Albania, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2018, the amount of particle boards imported into Turkey amounted to X cubic meters, shrinking by -X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, particle board imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X cubic meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2018, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, particle board imports amounted to $X in 2018. Over the period under review, particle board imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2018, the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per cubic meter), while the price for Serbia ($X per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Romania, while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
