Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Belgium (X tons), Tunisia (X tons) and Brazil (X tons) were the main destinations of marble granules and powder exports from Turkey, together comprising 66% of total exports. These countries were followed by Sweden, Ukraine, Iraq, Israel, Russia and Chile, which together accounted for a further 27%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Israel (with a CAGR of +34.2%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Tunisia ($X), Ukraine ($X) and Brazil ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for marble granules and powder exported from Turkey worldwide, with a combined 46% share of total exports.
Tunisia, with a CAGR of +41.3%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average marble granules and powder export price stood at $X per ton in 2021, rising by 9.3% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible decrease. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Israel ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Chile (+16.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Imports of Granules, Chippings And Powder Of Marble
Imports into Turkey
In 2021, the amount of granules, chippings and powder of marble imported into Turkey surged to X tons, rising by 184% compared with the previous year's figure. In general, imports recorded prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 192%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, marble granules and powder imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports saw prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 273% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

Germany (X tons), Spain (X tons) and Italy (X tons) were the main suppliers of marble granules and powder imports to Turkey, with a combined 85% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Spain (with a CAGR of +334.5%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest marble granules and powder suppliers to Turkey were Germany ($X), Spain ($X) and Italy ($X), with a combined 85% share of total imports.
Among the main suppliers, Spain, with a CAGR of +359.5%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average marble granules and powder import price amounted to $X per ton, surging by 2.3% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a pronounced setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 47% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2015 to 2021, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per ton), while the price for Spain ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Greece (+93.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
