After two years of decline, overseas shipments of food preparations for infants increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Over the period under review, exports posted a moderate expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, baby food exports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, exports saw a tangible expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when exports increased by X%. The exports peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
Exports by Country
Syrian Arab Republic (X tons) was the main destination for baby food exports from Turkey, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, baby food exports to Syrian Arab Republic exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Cyprus (X tons), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Azerbaijan (X tons), with a X% share.
