In 2022, overseas shipments of apparel of leather or of composition leather decreased by X% to X units, falling for the third consecutive year after two years of growth. In general, exports showed a abrupt setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, leather apparel exports fell sharply to $X in 2022. Overall, exports recorded a perceptible slump.
