Exports from the Netherlands

For the third year in a row, the Netherlands recorded growth in shipments abroad of optical fibers and bundles, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports showed a buoyant increase. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, optical fiber and bundle exports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, exports continue to indicate prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

Exports by Country

Romania (X tons) was the main destination for optical fiber and bundle exports from the Netherlands, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, optical fiber and bundle exports to Romania exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Poland (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was held by Belgium (X tons), with an X% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume to Romania amounted to X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Poland (X% per year) and Belgium (X% per year).
