Exports from Thailand

In 2022, shipments abroad of t-shirts increased by X% to X units, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. Over the period under review, exports enjoyed buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, t-shirt exports expanded rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a slight shrinkage. The exports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports by Country

Japan (X units), Tanzania (X units) and the United States (X units) were the main destinations of t-shirt exports from Thailand, together comprising X% of total exports. Togo, Singapore, Myanmar, the Philippines, Angola, Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Mozambique lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Guinea (with a CAGR of X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
