From 2007 to 2018, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Vietnam stood at +X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Bangladesh (+X% per year) and China, Hong Kong SAR (+X% per year).

In 2018, the average prepared sheep leather export price amounted to $X per square meter, rising by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the prepared sheep leather export price, however, continues to indicate an abrupt decline. Over the period under review, prepared sheep leather imports attained their peak figure at X square meters in 2010; however, from 2011 to 2018, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, prepared sheep leather imports stood at $X in 2018. In general, prepared sheep leather imports, however, continue to indicate a buoyant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008 with an increase of X% y-o-y. Imports peaked at $X in 2010; however, from 2011 to 2018, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2018, Malaysia (X square meters) constituted the largest supplier of prepared sheep leather to Thailand, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, prepared sheep leather imports from Malaysia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Jordan (X square meters), more than tenfold.

From 2007 to 2018, the average annual growth rate of volume from Malaysia stood at +X%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Jordan (+X% per year) and India (+X% per year).
