Exports from Switzerland

In 2022, shipments abroad of meat increased by X% to X tons, rising for the third consecutive year after two years of decline. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a perceptible contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, meat exports surged to $X in 2022. In general, exports recorded a strong expansion. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
