Exports from Sweden

In 2022, overseas shipments of plastic sacks and bags increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second year in a row after three years of decline. In general, exports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, plastic bag exports rose modestly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year.
