Exports peaked at X tonnes in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2020, exports failed to regain the momentum.

In value terms, cocoa powder exports contracted markedly to $X in 2020. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a slight expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2009 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Exports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2020, exports failed to regain the momentum.

The Netherlands (X tonnes), Poland (X tonnes) and Finland (X tonnes) were the main destinations of cocoa powder exports from Sweden, with a combined X% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Estonia and Hong Kong SAR, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2020, the biggest increases were in Estonia (+X% per year), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Poland ($X), Finland ($X) and the Netherlands ($X) were the largest markets for cocoa powder exported from Sweden worldwide, with a combined X% share of total exports.

Poland (+X% per year) recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
