Maldives (X tons), Singapore (X tons) and Malaysia (X tons) were the main destinations of wheat and meslin flour exports from Sri Lanka, together comprising X% of total exports. These countries were followed by Thailand, Hong Kong SAR, Cambodia and India, which together accounted for a further X 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in India (with a CAGR of +X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest markets for wheat and meslin flour exported from Sri Lanka were Singapore ($X), Maldives ($X) and Malaysia ($X), with a combined X% share of total exports. From 2019 to 2021, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

After four years of growth, supplies from abroad of wheat and meslin flour decreased by -X% to X tons in 2021. Overall, imports, however, posted a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2020, and then fell notably in the following year.
In value terms, wheat and meslin flour imports fell remarkably to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then dropped notably in the following year.
