In value terms, table linen exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a dramatic contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Exports by Country

The Netherlands (X tons), India (X tons) and the United States (X kg) were the main destinations of table linen exports from Sri Lanka, with a combined X% share of total exports. Maldives, Australia, Sweden, the UK, Japan, Denmark, Canada, Hong Kong SAR, Italy and Switzerland lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Denmark (with a CAGR of +X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the United States ($X), India ($X) and Denmark ($X) were the largest markets for table linen exported from Sri Lanka worldwide, together accounting for X% of total exports.
