Exports from Sri Lanka

Copper wire exports from Sri Lanka contracted slightly to X tons in 2022, waning by X% on 2021 figures. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, copper wire exports contracted sharply to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a pronounced contraction.
