The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The United Arab Emirates (X units) was the main destination for broom, brush, and mop exports from Sri Lanka, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, broom, brush, and mop exports to the United Arab Emirates exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, France (X units), twofold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by the United States (X units), with a X% share.

In value terms, broom, brush, and mop imports expanded rapidly to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a mild decrease.
