Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Portugal ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 67%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.

Portugal (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Egypt (X tons) were the main suppliers of orange imports to Spain, together accounting for 65% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Egypt (with a CAGR of +237.6%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Portugal ($X), the Netherlands ($X) and Egypt ($X) were the largest orange suppliers to Spain, together comprising 64% of total imports.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was France ($X per ton), while the price for Egypt ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Argentina (+2.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
