Clove Market Size in Spain

In 2019, the Spanish clove market was finally on the rise to reach $X for the first time since 2016, thus ending a two-year declining trend. In general, consumption posted resilient growth. In value terms, clove exports contracted slightly to $X in 2019. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2011 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, exports attained the maximum at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2019, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

France (X tonnes), the U.S. (X tonnes) and the UK (X tonnes) were the main destinations of clove exports from Spain, together accounting for X% of total exports.

From 2007 to 2019, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the U.S. (+X% per year), while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
