In 2019, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in shipments abroad of crude palm oil, when their volume increased by X% to X tonnes. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2019 figures, imports increased by +X% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. The volume of import peaked at X tonnes in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2019, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, crude palm oil imports declined to $X in 2019. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate notable growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2008 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2019, imports remained at a lower figure.

India prevails in crude palm oil imports structure, resulting at X tonnes, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2019. It was distantly followed by Pakistan (X tonnes), achieving a X% share of total imports.
