Exports in Southern Asia

Motor grader exports dropped to X units in 2022, waning by X% against 2021. In general, exports, however, posted a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, motor grader exports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, enjoyed buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X%. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Exports by Country

India represented the key exporter of motor graders and levellers in Southern Asia, with the volume of exports amounting to X units, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Sri Lanka (X units), comprising a X% share of total exports. Pakistan (X units) held a minor share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to motor grader exports from India stood at X%. At the same time, Sri Lanka (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Sri Lanka emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Southern Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Pakistan (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
