Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tonnes in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, frozen vegetables imports contracted rapidly to $X in 2020. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a tangible increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2011 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. The level of import peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2020, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2020, Nepal (X tonnes) represented the main importer of frozen vegetables and mixtures of vegetables, comprising X% of total imports. The frozen vegetables import price in Southern Asia stood at $X per tonne in 2020, surging by X% against the previous year.
