In 2020, India (X tonnes) represented the major exporter of crude soybean oil in Southern Asia, mixing up X% of total export.

India was also the fastest-growing in terms of the crude soybean oil exports, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007 to 2020. India (+X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, India ($X) also remains the largest crude soybean oil supplier in Southern Asia.

As a result, imports attained the peak of X tonnes. From 2016 to 2020, the growth imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, crude soybean oil imports surged to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2016 to 2020, the growth imports failed to regain the momentum.

India represented the largest importing country with an import of about X tonnes, which amounted to X% of total imports. Bangladesh (X tonnes) occupied the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Nepal (X tonnes). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total imports. Pakistan (X tonnes) followed a long way behind the leaders.
