India dominates bearing imports structure, recording X tonnes, which was near X% of total imports in 2020. Pakistan (X tonnes) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Bangladesh (X tonnes). All these countries together held approx. X% share of total imports. Sri Lanka (X tonnes) took a little share of total imports.

Imports into India increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2020. At the same time, Bangladesh (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Bangladesh emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Southern Asia, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2020. Sri Lanka experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Pakistan (-X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of India (+X p.p.) and Bangladesh (+X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2007-2020, the share of Pakistan (-X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, India ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported ball or roller bearings in Southern Asia, comprising X% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Pakistan ($X), with a X% share of total imports. It was followed by Bangladesh, with a X% share.

In India, bearing imports expanded at an average annual rate of +X% over the period from 2007-2020. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Pakistan (+X% per year) and Bangladesh (+X% per year).
