Exports in South-Eastern Asia

In 2022, the amount of semiconductor devices exported in South-Eastern Asia rose markedly to X units, picking up by X% on 2021. Overall, exports, however, recorded a pronounced decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, semiconductor device exports reduced sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a abrupt contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

Malaysia was the largest exporter of semiconductor devices in South-Eastern Asia, with the volume of exports resulting at X units, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022.
