Exports in South-Eastern Asia

For the third year in a row, South-Eastern Asia recorded growth in overseas shipments of pulp from fibres other than wood, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, exports of pulp from fibres other than wood reduced to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports of reached the maximum at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
