Exports in South-Eastern Asia

After two years of growth, shipments abroad of plastic baths, wash-basins, lavatory pans and covers and similar sanitary ware decreased by X% to X units in 2023. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed a resilient expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2022, and then declined in the following year.

In value terms, plastic sanitary ware exports shrank to $X in 2023. In general, exports, however, showed a buoyant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of X%. In 2023, Vietnam (X units), Thailand (X units) and Malaysia (X units) represented the key exporter of plastic baths, wash-basins, lavatory pans and covers and similar sanitary ware in South-Eastern Asia, creating X% of total export.
