Exports in South-Eastern Asia
After two years of growth, overseas shipments of phenolic resins in primary forms decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. Total exports indicated a moderate expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons, and then contracted in the following year.
In value terms, phenolic resins exports declined modestly to $X in 2022. Total exports indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X, and then declined in the following year.

Singapore represented the major exporter of phenolic resins in primary forms in South-Eastern Asia, with the volume of exports reaching X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. Malaysia (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Indonesia (X%) and Thailand (X%). Vietnam (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Exports from Singapore increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Vietnam (X%), Thailand (X%) and Malaysia (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Vietnam emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in South-Eastern Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Indonesia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Singapore (X p.p.) and Vietnam (X p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Indonesia saw its share reduced by X% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Singapore ($X) remains the largest phenolic resins supplier in South-Eastern Asia, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Thailand ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Indonesia, with a X% share.
In Singapore, phenolic resins exports expanded at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Thailand (X% per year) and Indonesia (X% per year).

In 2022, the export price in South-Eastern Asia amounted to $X per ton, growing by X% against the previous year.
