For the tenth year in a row, the Southeast Asian grapefruit market recorded growth in sales value, which increased by X% to $X in 2019. Overall, consumption posted a strong expansion. Viet Nam (X tonnes) constituted the country with the largest volume of grapefruit production, comprising approx. X% of total volume. Moreover, grapefruit production in Viet Nam exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest producer, Thailand (X tonnes), threefold.

From 2007 to 2019, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume in Viet Nam amounted to +X%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Thailand (-X% per year) and the Philippines (-X% per year).

Export price indicated a prominent increase from 2007 to 2019: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last twelve years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2019 figures, grapefruit export price increased by +X% against 2009 indices.
