Fructose Exports

Exports in South-Eastern Asia

Fructose exports skyrocketed to X tons in 2023, jumping by X% against 2022 figures. In general, exports recorded a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked in 2023 and is likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($X per ton), while Thailand ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In 2023, after three years of growth, there was decline in overseas purchases of fructose and fructose syrup, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. Total imports indicated perceptible growth from 2012 to 2023: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last eleven years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2023 figures, imports increased by X% against 2019 indices.
