Over the period under review, exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2020, exports failed to regain the momentum.

Viet Nam was the key exporting country with an export of around X units, which accounted for X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Malaysia (X units), generating a X% share of total exports. Indonesia (X units) and Singapore (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

In 2020, supplies from abroad of fork-lift trucks decreased by -X% to X units, falling for the second consecutive year after three years of growth. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a perceptible increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2012 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2020, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, fork-lift truck imports reduced dramatically to $X in 2020. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a notable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country

Viet Nam (X units), Thailand (X units), Malaysia (X units) and Indonesia (X units) represented roughly X% of total imports of fork-lift trucks in 2020.
