Exports in South-Eastern Asia

In 2022, overseas shipments of electric lamps increased by X% to X units, rising for the second year in a row after eight years of decline. Overall, exports, however, faced a abrupt shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X%. The volume of export peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, electric lamp exports expanded notably to $X in 2022. In general, exports, however, saw a pronounced slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Thailand represented the largest exporting country with an export of around X units, which finished at X% of total exports. Singapore (X units) ranks second in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by Vietnam (X%) and the Philippines (X%). Indonesia (X units) and Malaysia (X units) held a little share of total exports.
