Exports in South-Eastern Asia

In 2022, overseas shipments of coffee (green) were finally on the rise to reach X tons for the first time since 2016, thus ending a five-year declining trend. In general, exports, however, showed a slight shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, green coffee exports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, continue to indicate a mild setback. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Exports by Country

In 2022, Vietnam (X tons) represented the major exporter of coffee (green), committing X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Indonesia (X tons), committing a X% share of total exports. Lao People's Democratic Republic (X tons) held a relatively small share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to green coffee exports from Vietnam stood at X%.
