In 2022, overseas shipments of butter and ghee increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second year in a row after four years of decline. In general, exports, however, saw a mild downturn. The following exporters - Indonesia (X tons) and the Philippines (X tons) - each reached an X% share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to butter and ghee exports from Malaysia stood at X%. At the same time, the Philippines (X%), Vietnam (X%) and Thailand (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, the Philippines emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in South-Eastern Asia, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Indonesia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Singapore (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
