In 2019, the average cinnamon export price amounted to $X per tonne, approximately reflecting the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2009 an increase of X% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $X per tonne in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2019, export prices failed to regain the momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2019, the country with the highest price was Canada ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to Namibia ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
