From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Qatar (with a CAGR of +70.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the Philippines ($X), Indonesia ($X) and the United Arab Emirates ($X) were the largest markets for desktop computer exported from Singapore worldwide, together accounting for 49% of total exports. These countries were followed by Australia, Bangladesh, the United States, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, China, Qatar and the Netherlands, which together accounted for a further 36%.
In terms of the main countries of destination, Thailand, with a CAGR of +65.9%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
