Exports from the Russian Federation

In 2022, approx. X tons of provitamins and vitamins were exported from Russia; falling by X% compared with 2021. Overall, exports showed a noticeable slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, vitamin exports contracted rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, exports recorded a slight decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Kazakhstan (X tons) was the main destination for vitamin exports from Russia, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, vitamin exports to Kazakhstan exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Armenia (X tons), sixfold.
