Mixed Fertilizer Exports

Exports from the Russian Federation

In 2022, mixed fertilizer exports from Russia contracted slightly to X tons, remaining relatively unchanged against 2021. Overall, total exports indicated resilient growth from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, mixed fertilizer exports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, posted a strong increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of X%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

Brazil (X tons), India (X tons) and Thailand (X tons) were the main destinations of mixed fertilizer exports from Russia, together accounting for X% of total exports. Turkey, Romania, China, the United States, Vietnam, Serbia, Kenya, Colombia, Mexico and South Africa lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.
