Over the period under review, the chrome ore imports attained its maximum volume of X tonnes in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.

In 2017, China (X tonnes) was the largest importer for chromium ores and concentrates, committing X% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Mozambique (X tonnes) and Russia (X tonnes), together achieving X% share of total imports. Sweden (X tonnes) occupied the mild share of total imports.
