In 2022, shipments abroad of ceramic statuettes and other ornamental articles increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second consecutive year after two years of decline. Overall, exports, however, saw a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, ceramic statuette exports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Italy (X tons), France (X tons) and the UK (X tons) were the main destinations of ceramic statuette exports from Romania, together comprising X% of total exports.
