The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2009 when exports increased by X% y-o-y. Exports peaked in 2020 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, styrene-acrylonitrile exports fell to $X in 2020. Overall, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2010 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Exports peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2020, exports failed to regain the momentum.

China (X tonnes) was the main destination for styrene-acrylonitrile exports from South Korea, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, styrene-acrylonitrile exports to China exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Hong Kong SAR (X tonnes), fourfold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by Viet Nam (X tonnes), with a X% share.
