Exports from Republic of Korea

In 2022, overseas shipments of maize oil decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the fifth year in a row after four years of growth. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a noticeable descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, maize oil exports dropped rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, exports showed a pronounced descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Malaysia (X tons) was the main destination for maize oil exports from South Korea, accounting for a X% share of total exports.
