In value terms, the United States ($X), Hong Kong SAR ($X) and China ($X) were the largest markets for preserved frozen potato exported from South Korea worldwide, together comprising 61% of total exports.

In 2021, the amount of frozen potatoes prepared or preserved imported into South Korea rose to X tons, with an increase of 2.8% on 2020. In general, total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.1% over the last nine-year period. From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from the United States amounted to +3.1%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Belgium (+40.3% per year) and the Netherlands (+16.6% per year).
