Butter Market Size in Republic of Korea

Over the period under review, butter exports attained their peak figure in 2018 and are expected to retain its growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, butter exports totaled $X in 2018. Over the period under review, butter exports continue to indicate an extraordinary increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, butter exports reached their maximum in 2018 and are expected to retain its growth in the immediate term.

Exports by Country

Egypt (X tonnes) was the main destination for butter exports from South Korea, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, butter exports to Egypt exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, China, Hong Kong SAR (X tonnes), twofold.

From 2007 to 2018, the average annual growth rate of volume to Egypt totaled +X%.

In value terms, Egypt ($X) and China, Hong Kong SAR ($X) were the largest markets for butter exported from South Korea worldwide, together comprising X% of total exports.

Over the period under review, butter imports reached their maximum in 2018 and are expected to retain its growth in the near future.

In value terms, butter imports totaled $X in 2018. Overall, butter imports continue to indicate strong growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2010 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2018 and are likely to continue its growth in the near future.
